Version 1.5.8 In Android Market

1.5.8 Update: Color coded progress bars, IO File Manager and ES File Explorer can now send files to Torrent-fu from SD card. Update to custom search providers that allows non query based RSS to be searched. I think this will be the last update for a week or two (hopefully in that time i can integrate private trackers.)

Thanks to everyone for the insights and help!

I’ll try to put together a tutorial on custom search providers soon.

Hey.. Tnx for a superb app!!

but I have one question, will there be implemented browsing the RSS you have setup in utorrent?
It would be a huge plus if you can implement that. Just because of the sorting and filter possibilities that utorrent have.

    Hey Everyone,

Im sorry to post here but I cannot get a connection from the 3G connection on my phone. Im using fido.
it works on my computer. Im not using a router. Any suggestiions?

Send file feature seem to fail for me. What protocol/port does it use? Should i setup my torrent client for it?

    Thank you! Great product!

If you could get it to work with private sites such as RevolutionTT.net, sceneaccess.org, or even demonoid I wouldn’t mind making a donation when pay-day roll’s around. Just got my Droid X a week ago and would love to remotely start/stop DL’s while I’m @ work. Also is there any way to browse thru the whole RSS feed instead of just searching for 1 specific thing?

    Thanks!

So I don’t understand how to add a private tracker? We need a simple tutorial for Demonoid. Everyone who torrents probably has a Demonoid account. I’m not saying they are the best just saying they are very popular. I personally get all my HD from HDME.eu one of the best communities and fastest torrents I’ve ever seen. And would love to be able to download from them with my G1. But I would settle for a Demonoid tutorial.

One thing I really would like to see is torrent fu on a windows platform. Not for the geek, but for the geek’s girl friend. It’s the only program easy enough for her to understand how to use.

    I love this app.

If u would get privet trackers in torrent-fu i will divorce my wife and merry it and spend the rest of my life with it :)

Imo. private tracker would make this best app ever.

  • Great application, works smoothly and looks nice. :) Only one feature request from me: view by label. some sort of sort or filter that way. I would like to be able to view only downloading torrents or otherwise active torrents than everything that’s seeding. It gets overwhelming when the list is huge.

Thanks for spending time on this application <3

This app is top notch. Keep working on the private sites, it will make this app way more useful.

One other feature I would like to see is sort by category. I would love to be able to select the default utorrent category (All, Downloading, Complete, active, inactive) and any labels you have made.

One other feature I would like to see is Stop/start/pause all

Get them 3 things and you will get a huge donation form me!
